It looks like it has been a good week to be away. There have been few decent trends and mostly drift ahead of Friday’s NFP. The two exceptions being the cross pairs of the AUD/NZD and GBP/AUD but the EUR/NZD might be worth watching here too.
NB: this is just a brief update as I am traveling and on holidays until the end of October. Currently in Boston, US. First time here and can’t believe how absolutely beautiful the place is!
USDX daily: revised trend lines but the theme is the same. Watch for any decent break away from the weekly 200 EMA zone:
EURX weekly: this is still shaping up within a Bull Flag for now:
Trend line breakouts:
AUD/NZD: this gave a 100 pip trend line breakout and new TC signal worth up to 12 R!
AUD/NZD 4hr: keep an eye on 1.10 S/R for any new make or break:
AUD/NZD 15 min: this gave a new TC signal prior to the break but with a small Stop of just 10 pips! Staying with the pair above the Cloud gave up to 12 R before the move faded near 1.10 S/R:
GBP/AUD: this cross pair gave 200 pips in a trend line breakout this week.
GBP/AUD 4hr: a triangle breakout for 200 pips.
GBP/AUD 15 min: the triangle breakout also came with a new TC signal for up to 2 R before it faded:
EUR/NZD 4hr: watch for any new make or break at the major bear trend line; just above current price:
AUD/JPY: this might be starting to move:
AUD/JPY 15 min:
Gold daily: watch for any new make or break at the daily 61.8% fib, near $1,265 S/R:
Silver 4hr: still range-bound above TL S/R:
EUR/USD 4hr: sideways chop near 1.18 S/R:
