AUD/USD is posting fresh intraday highs at the NY open, with 0.7743 the high so far. There are decent offers reported between 0.7745 and 0.7750, as well as key tech resistance at 0.7755 (former support pre-Stevens speech). Keep an eye on that area, as a clear break above could trigger a further short squeeze and help the pair extend gains towards 0.78. We have the Australian inflation data release tonight, so price action could remain choppy until then. AUD/USD is currently at 0.7739.
