The US$ hasn’t moved that much but there have been a number of decent trend line breakout moves across FX pairs. In fact there were 6 breakouts with 5 giving good TC signals as well. I’d thought it might be quiet in the lead up to FOMC but, not so.
Data: watch today for AUD Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes, EUR German ZEW Economic Sentiment & general EUR ZEW Economic Sentiment, USD Building Permits and NZD GDT Price Index data.
USDX daily: watch the Flag trend lines and 92.50 for any breakout activity ahead of, and with, tomorrow’s FOMC:
EURX weekly: That potential Bull Flag I noted on the weekend looks to be shaping up for now!

Gold: A trend line breakout for 140 pips and a TC 15 min chart signal that has given almost 2R:

Silver: A trend line breakout for 45 pips and a TC 15 min chart signal that has given 4 R:

EUR/JPY: A trend line breakout for 70 pips and a TC 15 min chart signal that is in progress but not at 1 R yet:

USD/JPY: A trend line breakout for 70 pips and a TC 15 min chart signal that has given 1 R:

USD/TRY: A trend line breakout for 600 pips and a TC 15 min chart signal that has given 3.5 R:
USD/TRY 15 min: way too big a Stop for my liking but, still, the signal and trade worked out well!
